The Gardensmith's designer, Cathryn Smith, is trained in garden design and horticulture at Pershore Horticultural College, having studied an HNC in Garden Design and the Royal Horticultural Society Advanced Certificate. She also has a degree in Fine Art from the University of the Witswatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.
"I set up The Gardensmith 20 years ago and love creating beautiful outdoor spaces for my clients to enjoy. Over these 20 years I have come to realise how important a garden is to people's mental wellbeing and happiness. Having lived in South Africa for some years, I have experienced the pleasure of 'living outdoors' and now really enjoy bringing elements of that lifestyle to my client's gardens"
